I'm headed out the door for the IHW retreat, but I had to stop by and offer some HUGE CONGRATS! I'll email you when I get back, but I'm very happy for you.
Cheers, Jerry. Hope you have (or had) a great weekend with the Indiana horror crowd.
Oh Mike! That is awesome news. I am so happy for you. I am really thrilled. This is just the best news ever!
Totally worth the extra punctuation.
Yup, that sums it up pretty well. :)
Go on, you good thing!
Considering who this agent is, it's a pretty massive feckin' step towards publishing, mate. Only a fool would bet against it.
I hope you're right, man. I've been looking round the Sobel Weber site and reading an interview with Nat Sobel. I think I'm in good hands.
Brilliant news! Someone remixed the gorilla to `Smoke On The Water'!
PS. Many congratulations! ;-)
So so so over the moon for you, Mike!
Hahahaha!! Thanks, Katey!
How rewarding after the time wasting you experienced before. Nice to know those don't matter so much, now.
The hard part's over, now. Congrats again!
Thanks, Rod. Now I can concentrate on the important stuff, like writing!
WOW! That's SO great, and of course well-deserved and all, but fantastic nonetheless - hope you have a good celebration planned -- kudos to you, sir!
Thanks, Pete. I'm having a big curry tonight and a bottle of fizzy pop. I knows how to play hard.
Ah Mike. I truly couldn't be happier for you. Much deserved, and you know it. I suspect this has lit a fire under you, eh? Let me know if you need a reader, you know where to find me. Go on, DANCE!!!!!
You wouldn't be encouraging me to dance if you saw my moves. :D
Thanks for the congrats, Pam.
FANTASTIC! Right on! I really ought to get on my querying game. So stoked for you!
Thanks, Justin. Yep, get your work out there and be patient.
Woot! Woot! Woot!
I thought you'd been a wee bit quiet the past few weeks and now I know why. Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic news.
Aye, there has been all sorts of stuff going on re. HB/agent/publisher for the past two months. Pretty distracting stuff it is too. The Nat Sobel deal though came out of the blue. Less than ten days ago I hadn't even contacted him and yet here I am... *shakes head in disbelief*
And thanks for the post on your blog, Cate. You're a pal.
Wow! Congratulation, Mr. Stone! This is great news.

So excited for you. After reading some of your shorts I am not surprised you have one. I am merely surprised it took this long. Woot!
Thanks, I appreciate that, Anon. Do I know you, btw?
I just saw that Robert Jordan was on their client list, I'm doubly impressed!
I'm in exalted company. Kinda daunting, but exciting.
Amazing news, Mike! Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. I'm seriously chuffed for you.
Cheers, Joel. I'm hoping you'll have some major news in mid-June. :)
I big congratulations to you, sir.
GO MIKE, GO MIKE! W00t w00t, w00t w00t!
Awesome work! Hopefully this will kick the novel in the ass and shove it up a few notches! :D
You, Kody, are a loon! :-)
Huge congrats! I am so happy for you!
Thanks, um... you know, I don't actually know your name. Thanks, X-Ray!
Sniff...sniff... It's so beautiful to watch writers grow up and leave the nest! I'm getting all weepy over here!
Dry your eyes, you goon! *passes hanky*
So, how's it going with you these days?
It's just bloody tops that's what it is!
Looking forward to getting a signed copy (that's not printed on both sides in opposite order... and loose)!
